Packed up all our stuff, including 6 bottles of Schweppes Diet Tonic - and got ourselves ready to go - but we needed one last thing - a few more bottles of diet tonic......so a stop at Publix was in order.
Of course, the first one we stopped at (on the way to the freeway!) was out - so we figured we would hit one closer to the port - they should have some, right?
Off the freeway in Delray Beach - found the store - oops, they don't have any either. So Pam and I got on our phones to find one that DID - finally located in Boca Raton at the Publix liquor store - and when we got there, we also found a really nice grey goose gift set with shaker, so we bought that too. We'll pick it up on our way home. :)
Another 20 miles or so and we made it to the port - at this point it was about 1pm, and most of the other cruisers had boarded - so it was pretty empty! Dropped our bags with the porter, said bye to Pam and Michael and walked into the terminal, where it was probably the easiest boarding I've ever had- no lines, and because we were in a suite, we had a personal escort to walk us thru the lines. Fantastic - we were onboard about 130pm and headed for Luminae to grab some lunch and a beverage! look at those happy people!!!
