the countdown begins

I've had a few requests for a blog this trip - apparently me on vacation is something people wish to follow?  Or have a vicarious vacation during the holidays?  I do actually enjoy writing these, and they are even better when I go back and read them several years later.  In case you've missed some of the previous ones, I've got them all linked for reference below.

Guess what?  there's still a bunch that are incomplete and will remain so forever - and I didn't do one in 2017 on Celebrity Reflection (either time I was on her) so looks like this is where we'll start.
